Wavepool

I really love this! It is a continuous soothing track of the sound of the sea and piano music. It is very relaxing. Available in CD format on CDBaby. Although there is a 6-minute version to download in MP3 format on both CDBaby & Amazon.

Bliss
A Hundred Thousand Angels

This CD has been around for a while and I have heard tracks played, but never actually got around to purchasing it until now. It was played as background music during the Awaken Your Inner Goddess workshop I recently attended and I fell in love with it. We started the workshop day listening to the track Shiv Shakti in a meditative silence, focussing on the lyrics. The music & lyrics are quite haunting and relaxing.

Music for Reiki Volumes 1 & 2

If you are a therapist looking for royalty free music to play during your sessions I can recommend these albums. They can be purchased as mp3 downloads from Jamie's website Cumara Music.

I first heard this CD, which comprises only two tracks, when I attended a Pilates class and immediately loved it. I have found it a very useful CD to play whilst I have been practising my Indian Head Massage routine and my case study 'guinea pigs' like it too!

Passage

I purchased this as an mp3 from CD Baby (see useful links page). It was developed in conjunction with massage therapists in order to provide a total relaxation experience incorporating the healing power of music. I find it lovely & relaxing and often just play it as calming background music. It is a mix of acoustic & electronic sounds, including guitars, Native American flutes, singing bowls etc. You can hear samples on the CD Baby or Amazon sites.

Tim Wheater

Whilst I was at the MBS Exhibition in London (May 2010) I heard Tim playing tracks from this lovely album. He had to 'step in' quickly when one of the scheduled acts failed to turn up and I'm glad he did, as this music was so calming, yet uplifting. The CD comprises songs using Sanskrit & Tibetan mantras and can have quite a profound effect. Listening to Tim performing live, I was temporarily transported from the busy Horticultural Halls to my own personal paradise - it was lovely!
